www.jsonline.com is the site of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel newspaper. It offers news and updates throughout the day, plus blogs for specific topics, including education.
http://mlk-kpp01.stanford.edu belongs to The Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute, an excellent resource for information about the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
www.npr.org, the site of National Public Radio, offers an excellent books section, including author interviews taken from radio broadcasts. The site offers teachers a good way to keep up to date with new book releases and gives us a chance to go deeper through the author interviews.
www.ProfessorGarfield.org is a joint venture of Garfield comic creator Jim Davis and Ball State University. It offers games and activities for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
www.ReadWriteThink.org is produced by the National Council of Teachers of English and the International Reading Association. It offers online resources in reading and language arts instruction.
